Method: Special Pepper Brown Sauce
- Melt 50g butter in a pre-heated pan then add wheat flour. Cook until the mixture turns slightly dark brown and smells nutty. Keep aside.
- Melt remaining butter and add yellow onion. Stir-fry until the mixture is brown colour. Add in water and dark soy sauce. Mix well.
- Add the flour mixture, stir well until desired consistency is achieved. Season with AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper and AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Pepper and it is ready.
Method: Burger
- Mix ground beef meat with cumin powder, garlic, AJI-SHIO®Flavoured Pepper and AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper.
- Add in yellow onion, egg and breadcrumb. Mix it well.
- Weight the meat mixture into 135-140g each then into a round shape and flatten it.
- Heat a grill pan. Grill the patty over medium heat, until both sides are cooked.
- Toast the bun until slightly brown both sides.
- On bottom bun, pipe on mayonnaise, place lettuce, home-made burger patty, special pepper brown sauce, tomato then place the top bun.
